Terms & Conditions

This is a privately owned reference site with no government, sheriff, jail, police, court, or corrections affiliation. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and its material cannot be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenancy, or another covered decision.

Nature of the Website

This private guide stores no official Middlesex County records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bail, or file a request or court paper for a visitor. Its purpose is to organize links and explanations for sheriff, police, court, state, federal, and third-party research resources.

Acceptable Use

Access is conditioned on lawful, respectful use. A visitor agrees not to:

  • Break a law through use of the site
  • Stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another eligibility decision
  • Seek unauthorized access to any account, server, or system
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools
  • Disrupt the service or another visitor's access

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no consumer report, background check, or credit report, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides screening services. Information must not be used for:

  • Hiring, firing, or other employment action
  • Tenant or housing screening
  • Creditworthiness or insurance pricing
  • License, permit, or public-benefit eligibility
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links Are Independent

The site links to sheriff and corrections pages, police logs, public-record portals, court systems, federal locators, legal resources, news outlets, and outside search providers. These destinations are not endorsed or controlled here. Their content, privacy practices, terms, and uptime are their responsibility.

Service Provided As Is

All pages and links are offered "as is" and "as available." There is no warranty that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or security defects, or that a partner search will return every relevant result. Custody and case information can change quickly, and nothing on this site is an official government statement.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend and hold harmless the site, its operators, and partners from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, use of the service, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless stated otherwise, the text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Middlesex County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time, and a revision takes effect when posted. Access may also be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Massachusetts Law

Massachusetts law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Massachusetts.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only as needed. All remaining provisions continue in effect.
